WHERE’S JOHNNY?ISAKSON SILENT AT COMMITTEE HEARINGS BUT CRITICIZES OVERTIME PAY FOR WORKING FAMILIES

ATLANTA – While Senator Isakson has a long record of missing committee hearings, one thing he has not missed is an opportunity to denounce any benefits for working class families, including depriving working families of overtime pay eligibility and a raise in minimum wage.

Isakson has voted for multiple congressional pay raises and has seen his salary increase nearly 25% while in office. It is clear Isakson’s dismal record of protecting hardworking families will only continue to hurt Georgians if he is elected another term.

It’s been 9 days since Jim Barksdale challenged Senator Isakson to debates about the economy in each of Georgia’s primary media markets.

With multiple public polls showing that Barksdale is within single digits, will Senator Isakson tell Georgians why he has not done his job yet votes to give himself more money?
